Week 26 2025: Payment features on Android and customizable email header and footer
This week’s release brings significant updates to the Android app and email customization tools, plus a collection of helpful improvements across Booqable.
Manual payments and payment requests on Android
Booqable Android app now includes support for manual payments and payment requests. This means you can record offline or in-person payments while out and about, and send payment links to customers directly from your device. These additions give you more control over your orders, no matter where you are, making it easier to manage your rental business on the go.
Customize your email header and footer
Until now, Booqable automatically included a default header and footer in your emails, using your company logo, name, and address. Based on customer feedback, it’s now possible to edit these sections. You can update your email header and footer directly from the Email settings, giving you more control over how your emails appear to customers.
App store and online store updates
- App listings now include direct links to Help Center articles for faster setup and support.
- You can now add a Mailchimp subscribe form to your website via the Booqable website builder, perfect for collecting leads and growing your mailing list.
- Fulfillment labels, such as “pickup” are hidden when there’s only one option.
- Sidebar layout improved with additional padding.
- The Kylie theme now allows you to choose whether the product description appears above or below the “Add to cart” button.
Back-office updates
- Improved validation for document prefix settings to prevent excessively long entries.
- Manual payments now allow you to set a payment date.
- The postal code field is now visible when adding a new payment card.
- Date picker now opens with the selected date instead of defaulting to the current month.
- Fixed erratic behavior when updating order item quantities.
- Security deposits are no longer required at checkout if no payment provider is connected.
