Week 19 2025: Improvements to permissions, product handling, and security notifications
This week’s update brings a range of refinements across Booqable, from better app permissions and product behavior to improved reliability in documents and embedded components. These updates help ensure your workflows stay smooth, secure, and efficient.
Fixes and improvements
Products and online store
- Product URL slugs are now preserved when changing product names, so links remain consistent.
- Embedded components now show product availability when using the “Go to checkout” option.
- Fixed an issue where the product count wasn’t shown correctly when importing collections.
Pricing and payments
- Fixed a bug that prevented bulk removal of advanced pricing rulesets.
- Blank or negative values are no longer allowed for security deposits.
- Currency previews now display correctly for currencies that don’t use cents.
Permissions and security
- Users without the “Manage settings” permission can no longer install apps.
- Menu items are now hidden if a user doesn’t have permission to access them.
- Security notifications are sent when an app is installed or uninstalled, helping you stay informed of account activity.
Documents and PDFs
- Fixed layout issues where images appeared off-center in PDF documents.
