When Henk-Jan Krijgsman had drinks with friends one Saturday evening in 2020, he started an event services company in the cultural sector. From this casual beginning, FRL Producties has grown into a versatile event services provider in Heerenveen, The Netherlands, offering lighting, sound, photography, and film services. Customers can work directly with Henk and his team, or rent the equipment seperately. They offer a 120sqm studio, equipped with advanced lighting, sound, and video technology. Their services include stage construction and truss systems for customizable setups, corporate photography, drone footage, and film productions like promotional videos and documentaries. Recently, they decided to start letting customers rent equipment separately, which has been a hit with local event organizers.
Their dedication to service has led to memorable moments, including a particularly moving theater production in the Frisian language that left a lasting impression on Henk-Jan. The five-person team works together to ensure every event runs smoothly, managing everything from equipment setup to technical support.

When adding rentals to FRL Producties, Henk-Jan knew he needed a platform to manage his rental operations and add online bookings to his website. Big dreams
Henk-Jan has ambitious plans for FRL products. In the next five years, he aims to scale to handle significant events with 40,000 to 50,000 attendees. His philosophy is “becoming big by thinking small” by focusing on quality service while steadily expanding their capabilities.
