When a student books online through your department portal or booking page, the reservation automatically appears in your Booqable back office. The item they reserved is immediately marked as unavailable for those dates, so a walk-in student can’t be promised the same piece of equipment.

Yes. Each item can be set up as its own unit, so you can see which one is checked out, who has it, and when it’s due back. When equipment needs cleaning, inspection, or repair, you can schedule downtime that removes it from availability for those dates.

Booqable can add a deposit to every order automatically, either a fixed amount or a percentage of the total. You can authorize and hold the amount on the student’s card from the back office, then release it when the item comes back or capture it if there’s damage. Deposits are managed directly from the order in Booqable.

Yes. You can price items by the day, set a flat weekly rate, or offer a lower per-day price on longer loans, and Booqable applies the right rate automatically based on the dates selected. You can also create free checkout options for specific student groups or departments.

Yes. The mobile app lets you create or update orders and take payments at pickup, right from your phone. When an item is returned, marking it returned updates availability on the spot, so the next student sees an accurate schedule.

Yes. You can embed Booqable’s booking components into an existing website built on WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, and others, link out to a standalone booking page, or build a full department portal in Booqable if you don’t have one yet.

Yes. Booqable generates a loan agreement from the order details, including student info, dates, and equipment, and you can add your own terms, liability clauses, and damage policies. Students sign digitally before or at pickup, and the signed agreement stays attached to the order.
