What happens if a Tap to Pay transaction fails?

Some transactions may require additional verification. If the amount exceeds the cardholder verification method (CVM) limit, your customer will be prompted to enter their PIN before the payment is collected. If the card issuer requests Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), PIN entry may also occur during payment confirmation. If a transaction fails, you can ask the customer to try again or use an alternative payment method.
