Of course, there is so much you can do with the app that there may be some features that you may have missed while taking a look around. So, today we are sharing with you seven things you didn’t know about the Booqable iOS app that can help you get the most out of it for your rental business.

1. Stay logged in on all devices

When you log into the Booqable iOS app, you will remain logged in on any other device where you are logged into your account. You can log in on multiple devices like your iPhone, iPad and laptop simultaneously, so you can pick up wherever you are without having to log back into your account.

2. Using your iPad as a POS

Using Booqable on your iPad works the same way as the your iPhone and it can make a great POS system. This will allow you to manage orders at your till with access to customer information, order information and the ability to request payments. You can process online bookings alongside in-store bookings with ease.

3. Handoff to other Apple devices

Apple’s handoff feature has been implemented in the Booqable iOS app and it allows you to switch between Apple devices with ease. For example, if you’re dealing with a customer on one device but need to switch to another you will see an icon in your dock that allows you to open an order on a second device.

4. Using barcodes to reduce human error

Picture this, you’re busy handing out orders and the wrong item gets handed out by mistake. It’s frustrating to say the least and can mess up other orders. It doesn’t have to be that way though. The built-in barcode scanner in the iOS app allows you to accurately hand out products with the safety of knowing that you’re handing out the right ones.

Sometimes when you’re having a busy period, it can be hard to help a colleague when they describe an order to you. However, you can make this easier by sending a link to their device via AirDrop, email or text and they can open it within the Booqable app immediately.

To give you quick access to orders and customers, you can use the spotlight search in iOS to search for anything in the app. This allows you to conveniently find something without having to open the app and be brought directly to where you want to be.

7. Get notified about order updates

Whenever someone orders something from your online store, you will receive a notification to let you know. This means you can wake up to a phone full of order notifications and not have to constantly check your account. In addition, you will be notified if a member of staff updates an order so everyone is in the loop.
